The Global Village program is designed to assist teachers in integrating Global Citizenship Education (GCE) into their classroom curriculum while cultivating a GCE-friendly atmosphere throughout the entire school community. Through its successful summer course, accredited by the Department of Education, and various face-to-face regional workshops, the program is effectively raising awareness about GCE and driving positive societal change.
CPD Webinars
Global Village offer a series of webinars designed for teachers and school leaders, exploring GCE themes, approaches and methodologies for the Primary school setting.
Research
Global Village, with the support of DCU, are carrying out research in a number of areas to examine what is curently available and what more is needed to support GCE in Primary Schools.
We initially started with 16 pilot schools, but as we enter our first phase, we’re expanding our reach with the help of workshops. We’re grateful to our pilot schools for their support, and now, we’re excited to offer workshops and webinars to a broader audience of primary educators.
